His talent was noticed on social media by such exceptional musicians as Antonio Faraò, one of the greatest figures of Italian jazz, who said of him:
"You are an excellent pianist, you play fantastically!"
János Jr. Egri won the special prize of Steve Rubie and the Harmónia Jazzműhely Foundation at the 2023 Müpa Jazz Showcase, thanks to which he gave a concert with leading English musicians at the legendary 606 Club in London.
In 2021, he won the Hungarian Jazz Association's "Young Jazz Musician of the Year" competition as the overall winner, based on the votes of the jury and the audience, and then received the Junior Prima Award in the Hungarian music category.

Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
