Renyagyár: Happy Future Christmas! New exhibition at Start Galéria Budapest

The artist is Renyagyár (Renáta Biacsics) an emerging contemporary artist. The world of her artworks is outspoken and bold, while playful and sensitive. Her distinctive visual language and easily recognizable style, seen in text-image montages woven with humor and social critique resonates with a wide audience both online and beyond.
The exhibition opens on the 5th of December, at 19:00, and will be on view until the 18th of December at Start Galéria Budapest.

On the 5th of December, 2025, Start Galéria Budapest will close the year with an exciting new exhibition by Renyagyár (Renáta Biacsics), titled Happy Future Christmas!. Over the past few years, Renyagyár’s drawings and text-image montages, woven with humor and social critique, have reached an ever-widening audience. This versatile and experimental artist’s work has appeared at festivals, on café walls, and even on musicians’ merchandise. Many first encountered Renyagyár on her Instagram page, where her funny images and unique artistic style have captured the attention of thousands.
Her drawings offer ironic and self-ironic interpretations of everyday situations, while also addressing political and social issues. Through social media, she has created a platform where people can connect with their own experiences and daily struggles through art. Her artworks make overwhelming public events more digestible and open up opportunities for social dialogue.
Start Galéria Budapest, which hosts the exhibition, was one of the first galleries to settle in the Margit Quarter and has since become one of the city’s most exciting micro-galleries. Founded in 2021 by Analóg Angelika, the gallery aims to bring contemporary art closer to everyday people.
