Ecstatic Dance: Cacao Journey
Under the Full Moon on the Danube, join us for a ceremonial Ecstatic Dance journey at Kassa Boat, guided by cacao, rhythm, and live sacred instruments. This special edition welcomes 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse — with ethno-inspired, shamanic, and tribal beats, including live horse shaman drums. The evening flows from a heart-opening cacao ceremony into ecstatic dance, and closes with a grounding sound bath, creating a conscious, substance-free space for deep movement, release, and embodiment.
Under the light of the Full Moon on the Danube River, we gather at Kassa Boat for a ceremonial Ecstatic Dance journey guided by cacao, rhythm, and live sacred sound.
This special edition opens 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse — a year symbolizing vitality, movement, courage, and untamed life force. To honor this energy, a live horse shaman drum will be played during the DJ set, calling in the spirit of the horse: freedom, power, instinct, and embodied presence.
The journey begins with a heart-opening cacao ceremony accompanied by live handpan, gently grounding the body and calming the nervous system. From this centered space, we move into an Ecstatic Dance DJ set weaving ethno-inspired, shamanic, and tribal rhythms, layered with live sacred instruments. Participants are invited into intuitive, expressive movement — moving beyond choreography and expectation, and into deep connection with the body, breath, and rhythm.
As the dance journey completes, the space softens into a closing sound bath and vibrational sound journey, using instruments such as gong, crystal pyramid, angel harp, chimes, ocean drum, and other elemental sounds. This final phase supports integration, relaxation, and recalibration of the nervous system, allowing the experience to land fully in the body.
Ecstatic Dance is a conscious, substance-free movement practice held within a clear container: no talking and no phones on the dance floor. There is no dance experience required — you are invited to move exactly as you are, following your own rhythm, sensations, and inner guidance. The space is designed to feel safe, intentional, and inclusive, supporting both deep personal exploration and shared collective energy.

Up the Danube! Kassa aims to lure you on board Kassa, the new favourite of the electronic music audience in Budapest, moored on the most spectacular downtown stretch of the Danube! Wandering through the labyrinth of the ship's hull, space and time are completely eliminated, and the Martin Torus sound technology sounds with a dynamics and clarity that Budapest audiences have never experienced before. And to complete the audio-visual experience, a giant LED wall and countless robotic lights and other visual devices are also set up in the main hall.
