Medusza album release x BLUSTER x Petrita

Medusza presents their debut album at a Carnival party, joined by BLUSTER and Petrita on the Turbina stage.

Medusza is a Budapest-based indie pop band that creates a world full of sensitivity and tension through Hungarian lyrics, melancholic moods, and dynamic guitar sounds. Blending influences from the British-Irish indie scene and the local Hungarian underground, we search for a sound where vulnerability and rawness coexist.

Our first EP, ‘Elolvadt idő’ (Melted Time), was released in December. Its main themes—loneliness, chaos, disorder, and sensitivity—are explored through guitar-driven, melancholic, yet energetic tracks. We will be presenting this very important material to you on February 6th at Turbina.

// BLUSTER

Formed from a group of high school friends, BLUSTER is an alternative rock band consisting of Boró, Bebe, Brúnó, Lau, and Böbi. After starting out with school-band covers, they quickly realized that putting their own feelings into songs is a far more enjoyable pursuit. Since then, they have strived for authenticity, sometimes through rock-heavy tracks, sometimes through a waltz.

The name „BLUSTER” refers to noise, chatter, and clamor—terms that describe the band perfectly, both on stage and in their daily lives.

The Petrita project provides a space for self-discovery; a place to ask questions I wouldn’t be able to put into words. This alternative pop world contains anger, pain, love, self-love, and self-hatred; an emotional whirlwind exactly like the one I feel within myself. My first full-length album is coming out soon—let this concert at Turbina be its final dress rehearsal.
