Alex Kelman is a Russian-born musician from Bratislava, whose Ilusia is his second full-length album under his own name, which he will present in Hungary for a few concerts.
Alex's music is a mix of psychedelic post-punk, shoegaze and synthwave with twists of The Soft Moon, Death In Vegas or Curve. A mix of beautifully noisy guitars, catchy dance beats and tingling synths, backed by pithy vocal themes.
"What style of album is Ilusia? Somewhere between electro-pop, synthwave (should be synthgaze), electronic post-punk-pop. Well put together pieces that are light but not clichéd. Some songs could even be played at an electro-wave party. If you want to hear an interesting album that is not heavy and despite its lightness, don't miss it."
