What's new in the Year of the Horse 2026
Three cultural delegations are coming to Budapest from China with lots of new entertainment, food, and craft programs.
Two professional chefs will arrive from Chengdu to prepare authentic Sichuan street food, which will be available exclusively during the Festival, including Sichuan-style noodles, chicken, mochi, and sweet soup.
Fire breathing, kung fu tea pouring, seal carving, and other new cultural programs will be seen for the first time in Hungary.
Visitors can try on 26 brand new hanfu outfits for free.
Admission is free, but a minimal contribution is required for participation in the tea tasting and do-it-yourself programs to cover the cost of cups and ingredients. These prices are listed on posters displayed on site. Card payments are also accepted.
