Sourdough bread workshop
Sourdough bread is a miracle in itself. As bread is created from three basic ingredients—flour, water, and salt—one cannot help but watch and study this magical process with a mixture of admiration and awe.

Schedule
During the workshop, we will learn how to bake wild sourdough bread at home, knead our own bread, take it home, and bake it the next day. We will also learn other useful sourdough recipes (rye and buckwheat bread, sourdough flatbread), tips, and receive a small amount of sourdough starter, which we can use to bake our own bread.
The bread we bake together must be taken home in a bread proofing basket, i.e., a sakajtó. The price of this is 3,000 forints. If you would like one, please indicate this in your application email. Instead of a sakajtó, we will line a pasta strainer with a kitchen towel and bring it to the workshop.
