Linda is a working mother on the brink of ultimate desperation. When the ceiling literally collapses on her, she is forced to confront yet another crisis. She stays in a motel with her daughter while trying to cope with the damage to the ceiling, her child’s mysterious illness, a missing patient, and a host of people who are unable to help her. Rose Byrne won the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for her portrayal of Linda.
