The Danish prog and extreme metal phenomenon IOTUNN will pull you straight into its unique universe. The band was founded by brothers Jesper and Jens Nicolai Gras, who originally wanted to play 1970s style space rock, but the final result became something far more monumental. With their The Wizard Falls EP and their Access All Worlds album released by Metal Blade Records, they have proved themselves as masters of limitless sonic space, philosophical depth and technical ferocity. Jón Aldara’s vocals lift you into a singular cosmos that reflects the spirit of legends such as Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and King Crimson, only taken to a much more extreme level.

The Norwegian band IN VAIN is cold, crushing and cathartic at the same time. In the world of progressive death and black metal, very few groups match their skill in atmosphere building and instrumental drama. Layered vocal arrangements, symphonic influences and relentless heavy riffs carry the force of a slowly unfolding yet unavoidable storm.
