The book is an autobiographically inspired work, telling a life story about the horrors that followed the deportation to Auschwitz, about survival and forgiveness. The writer tells the reader that facing the past is the way to healing and starting over. Dr. Edit Eva Eger is still a practicing clinical psychologist and lecturer at the University of California, specializing in the treatment of post-traumatic stress.
MOMkult
MOMkult is one of the leading community and cultural spaces in Budapest. Over the past seventy years, it has hosted numerous international productions in the Bauhaus building.
