Broken By The Scream
Formed in 2016, Broken By The Scream is a Japanese idol group part of the “kawaii metal” wave, whose music blends cute J-Pop melodies with the most extreme growling and screaming deathcore elements in a strikingly unique and surreal way.

Their concerts, which blend choreographed dance moves with headbanging, first garnered attention at home and later on an international level. They first visited Europe in 2024, and by the following year they were already being invited to prestigious metal festivals; on this year’s tour, in addition to club shows, they will also perform at the Wacken Open Air and Reload festivals. Following the release of their fourth studio album, Solar Strain, last year, they were signed by the legendary Metal Blade Records.
