A sad boy jinx on the A38 Ship? What is this, a crossover episode? Yep, the overgrown MAJRÉ and Yung Alvin, hiding like a squirrel, arrive on the rooftop terrace of the A38 to invite the young emo set to an epic mid-summer cry-dance-dance-cry-whine bash.

Our line-up is as follows:

Yung Alvin:

Yung Alvin, aka the sadboy in squirrel skin, is a 22 year old up-and-coming hip-hop/pop artist from Budapest who has been dabbling in a lot of styles since the summer of 2020. His first major breakthrough came with 'Bomba' in the spring of 2022. He has released three albums so far, is a featured artist in NeWave Hungary, which he founded, and his collective has played numerous concerts in the capital and beyond.

MAJRÉ:

He was once Young Majré, but the curse of growing up has reached him, so much so that he no longer arrives at occupied venues alone, but with a band. MAJRÉ and the band don't play small, their first show was in Budapest Park as opening act for Dzsúdló, and now they're working on a heartbreakingly big party at the A38. Expect new and old songs, surprises and surprise guests, and of course the usual bewildering alternation of sadness and madness.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
