The performance spans the nine years of the poet's life (1903-1912), during which he was in contact with his muse Leda through letters. During this period, they lived in an idyll of scandal in Paris, on the Riviera, in Budapest and Oradea, perhaps not realising that in the meantime they were producing a major poetic oeuvre.

Going beyond the insider's trumpeting, the play focuses not only on private life and passionate love, but on a life's work that unfolded between the regular breaks of doubt, the emotions distorted by separation and distance, the national feelings experienced under the influence of a foreign culture, isolation and the power lines of the eternal struggle between man and woman.

The audience feels as if they are guests of Ady and Leda, and the hosts let the audience in on all their secrets: how to spoil everything in exchange for immortality.
