"To burn with desire and remain silent about it - that is the greatest punishment we can inflict on ourselves." Federico Garcia Lorca

Fire Every action we take that is imbued with passion contains the power of fire. People with the element of fire have a great sense of freedom, they are instinctive, emotionally overwrought.

Maurice Ravel: Bolero

"If desire, then Bolero"

According to an international music survey conducted 20 years ago, the Bolero sound is the most likely to spark our imagination. It is a melody of smouldering sexuality, unrelenting and drifting. The idea for the work came from the dancer Ida Rubinstein, who commissioned the work 95 years ago from Ravel, and its first choreographer was a woman, Bronislava Nijinsky, sister of the famous Vaclav Nijinsky.

Bizet - Scedrin: Carmen

the "song of spilling blood"

The virtues of the musical interpretation of this plot, which is about a sense of duty, a yearning that represses and a jealousy that leads to murder, are the effective presentation of deep emotions and dramatic clashes, the kineticism and the Spanish temperament. The figure of Carmen has almost become a symbol of the frivolous woman: beautiful but a dangerous seductress, she throws her love around with too light a hand.

Bernarda Alba's house

in the "Andalusia of tears"

Garcia Lorca's last work, Bernarda Alba's House, subtitled "a drama of women in the Spanish villages", is a critique of the social constraints that crush individual happiness. Through the fate of a grieving widow and her daughters, Lorca captures the sultry atmosphere of repressed passions.
