SilkDance
The colours that surround us have always had a great impact on us, whether we realise these impulses or whether they trigger involuntary reactions.
What subjective relationships do we have with a colour and its different shades? How many different meanings can a tone have? What associations can we find with them? What memories, smells, even images do they evoke? What feelings and sensations do they evoke?
During the performance we would like to explore these and many similar questions together. We will explore colour as a stimulus in the unique and specific context of the individual. We will explore the multiple, deep and inner emotional worlds associated with a specific hue, offering an ever-changing experience to be received.

"Craftsmanship is my family heritage, so the love of art and creation has always been a constant part of my life. From an early age, I learned a wide variety of techniques, drawing, painting, sculpting and taking part in a wide range of craft activities, while constantly learning the secrets of textile crafts from my grandmothers. I studied fashion and textile design in Denmark and Hungary. Since then, I have been constantly developing and deepening my knowledge in various artistic fields.
The main focus in recent years has been visual art. Each project is based on a specific concept, prioritizing the possibilities of visualizing a given idea through multiple media. My art is deeply infused with craft, organic ornamentation, dynamic movement and vibrant saturated colours. The main motifs of my themes are: the hidden world of consciousness and the unconscious, the human psyche, emotional attachments/attachments, subjective perception of reality, self-identity and the psychology of colour. As a member of the L1 Association, I have begun to incorporate the medium of movement and performative presence into my artistic practice."
"My name is Ádám BOT, I was born in Debrecen in 1991. I have been involved in dance and performing arts since childhood, but over the years it has become a hobby and a profession. At the beginning I was engaged in ballroom dancing, then as a student of Dezső Virág I had the opportunity to get acquainted with different forms of performing arts based on physicality. From 2014 I regularly participate in performances of the Klári Pataky Company, and I am a guest artist of the Ziggurat Project all-arts collective and Anita Gera/DanceLab. I have also been influenced by my experience in stone theatres, especially collaborations with Gábor Katona, so as a creator I am interested in creating performances that balance dance/movement, theatre, performance and other artistic disciplines.
I am currently a member of the L1 Association, a freelance dancer and creator."
Emese KOVÁCS is a dance artist, founding member of the interdisciplinary and space-sensitive company Ziggurat Project and member of L1 Association.
She graduated from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno (CZ) and has worked with several other choreographers and directors in addition to her Ziggurat work. The NKA Imre Zoltán Programme has supported his work as a dance artist. She has participated in several residencies, such as CCDC Hong Kong and the International Visegrad Fund residency.
She is a permanent artist-performer of experimental music projects and operas by Miroslav Tóth (SK/CZ). Founding member of the Hamburg-based General Humanity Lab with composer Ingrid Hözl. Currently also interested in electronic music composition.
MΣO CULPA Hypnotic and progressive tribal seance spiced up with live drumming.
He is an avid music collector and self-taught musician in one.
His sets blend sounds reminiscent of ambient, jazz and world music tribal rituals, underpinned by electronic musical elements, creating a musical blend of ethno/hypnotic techno or tribal/oriental house.
Its tempo and rhythm are flexible: it is based on improvisation and changes according to the occasion -
so that he can always surprise his audience, giving them a unique and unrepeatable experience.
Jurányi House
The Jurányi Production Community Incubator House has become a key venue in the capital's cultural life, a vibrant hub of the contemporary art scene.
Our aim in creating the Jurányi was to find a stable, shared home for the independent theatre and creative arts sector, providing the infrastructure necessary for its day-to-day operations. We wanted to create a cultural centre in the Buda area, a "contemporary art house" where theatre-loving young people could spend a few hours over a coffee or even a theatre performance, a creative children's activity or an acrobatic movement class, thus re-filling the abandoned educational institution with an active community life.
Jurányi is more than just a theatre in Buda, it is a creative and creative base where visitors can enjoy a varied artistic, community, and educational program, in addition to a regular repertoire of 300 productions a year. We are proud that the Jurányi House is now a graduation subject in some art schools.
