The term post-plastic, generated by AI, does not exclusively refer to plastic as a material and phenomenon, although some of the works in the exhibition explicitly contain plastic. Different contexts create different interpretations of the term, thereby expanding its receptivity and malleability. In English, "plastic" has several meanings. One is the aforementioned plastic, and the other is plasticity, a concept that is also pervasive in the visual arts, and also implies malleability.

Also, the title can be used to indicate a falsified state of being. The trends that have been spreading in the renewed communication space of the last decade are inverting the individual's specificity, consuming the psyche in a society where the information overload fills the user with uncertainty and despair. This dual, uncertain state of being is manifested in the widespread popularity of computer games. The easily accessible, alternative, non-physical outcomes easily draw the user into a pseudo-beautiful reality where the appearance of success is the determining factor. The same is true of the flood of images on social media platforms, with their clean, unrealistic, parallel reality. It is the leakage of this parallel presence into the real, physical space that makes the term post-plastic really topical. It creates a dual reality where the ideals, filters and trends of virtual space also determine the visuality of physical reality. We planned to create a joint, trio exhibition because neither of us thinks in terms of the two-dimensional space of the image. It was the extension created in real, physical space and the object/sculptural perception of the images that connected our works. Also, we were concerned with similar problems, social issues and methods/solutions for image making.
