The five-day festival of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture program, the Madách 200 Thought Festival, will delve into the deepest layers of the writer's work and invite all those interested in the lessons of the past, the challenges of the present, and the opportunities offered by the future to reflect together. The Tragedy of Man is not being examined from the point of view of literary history or theatre; the festival program will explore the ideas and issues it raises.
