How do you cope when you have two socks waiting for you instead of an interviewer? What if the journalist only puts together 17 years later what he once witnessed? Why does someone continue to cover EU issues when the Brussels press tours are stopped just when he finally gets an invitation? And how does someone who drives around Europe in a van and bakes cakes at fairs work as a journalist?

On stage:
Gábor Köves, rtl.hu (formerly Magyar Narancs), who conducts interviews with film stars, directors and writers (and has already published two books of interviews)
Katalin Iliás-Nagy, photojournalist and journalist, WMN.hu, who writes about interesting people and social issues
Péter Magyari, Válasz Online (formerly 444.hu), who writes about the European Union and the relationship between the EU and Hungary
István Szabó M. Szabószabadúszó (formerly hvg.hu, Magyar Narancs), who mainly looks into the big issues of European and Hungarian energy policy

The Reporter Slam is an original German format, the first one was held in 2016 and since then more than 30 slams have been organised with nearly 100 participants. The first Reporter Slam in Hungary was held in June 2022 at the Dumaszínház. With new actors, this is the third edition in Hungary.
