Polygonia (IO - DE)

For our meeting at the end of November, we are bringing a true multilateral artist to the Turbina in Budapest. Munich-born Lindsey Wang, aka Polygonia, is a unique musical face on the modern techno scene. After many years of acoustic instrumental training, Polygonia's unique sound, which is organic, often polyrhythmic and complex, with elements drawn from many different styles, has placed her at the forefront of hypnotic techno. In addition to regular festival appearances, he is a regular at Tresor and Berghain and this year he has been invited to play a residency at the Blitz club in Munich. His musical adventures are framed by his own graphic works and his illustrations and photographic work enrich contemporary artistic values.

The mix of femininity and artistry of his DJ sets coupled with the energy of techno could be another chronicled episode of Technokunst's Acidmoon series on 25 November, where, after Mode's introduction, we will have a 2-hour performance by our protagonist, followed by Isu's closing.
