Kemp writer's camp - open session
This October was the 3rd edition of Banana Records' songwriting camp, KEMP, which every year selects 30 producers, songwriters and performers from around 200 applicants, who then spend 4 days writing songs in different teams and taking part in masterclasses.

Schedule
"It was here, for example, that some of the songs from Hundred Sins Opera were written, or some of the songs from Beton.Hofi's Playbania album, but it was also here that the idea for an EP with Co Lee, Kolibri and Tembó, the producer of the Júdló project, was born. The works created at the KEMP camp are proof that such an event and community can be an inspiration for the music scene, as it gives a whole new approach to the songwriting process."
An open day is now being held where visitors can get an insight into how the camp works, the songs that were made there and learn about the experiences of previous participants.
Programme:
How to improve your home studio: a lecture by sound engineer Dániel Lugosi on home studio best practices - powered by Audio Specialista
Producer Roundtable: Hundred Sins, Beatrick, DOÓR - What makes a song work? Where do the ideas come from? What producer practices can make a trek more exciting? How do you inspire the people you work with? The Kemp Producer Masterclass will try to find the answers to these questions with three of the producers who attended the camp. With the help of Hundred Sins, Beatrick and Doór, we'll take a tour around the topic, tell stories, talk shop and unravel the mystery - moderated by Dóri Mencseli
Listening Session: listening to some of the songs / demos from this year's songwriting camp and the makers' comments on the assignment and the making of the song.
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
