Lóránt Éles graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pécs in 2017, and was awarded the Derkovits Gyula Fine Arts Scholarship between 2020 and 2022.

Lóránt Éles is the grand prize winner at the 2022 Godot Art Expo, and is one of the most prominent representatives of contemporary sculpture in Hungary.
His works give the impression of both object and work of art, the influence of known or unidentifiable means. Hidden behind walls and beneath our cities, the pipes return to their sculptures as forgotten creatures of humanity, at once enclosing and enclosing something unknown. A clever combination of the cold, industrial shell and the organic elements within them draws attention to the contradictions of our present and future.
What is left of us?
Sharp's answer to this question is as ambiguous as his sculptures, which, when viewed up close, reveal a whole new dimension by falling into a grotesque world of gaps and openings. Bizarre and unconventional, these sculptures are at once an invitation to approach and a source of uncertainty. In Lóránt Éles' exhibition on the four floors of the Godot Lab, we move upwards, downwards, into the depths of the earth and water.
