Guided tour by journalist and political scientist Olivér Papp at the FFS new members' debut exhibition
On 19 December 2023 at 18:00, we are looking forward to welcoming you at K11 Labor (1075 Budapest, Király utca 11.), where journalist and political scientist Olivér Papp will give a guided tour of the exhibition entitled Interplay.

Schedule
Olivér Papp is a journalist and political scientist, currently a journalist for Kreatív magazine. His main areas of interest are political communication and the situation of the Hungarian media, especially its independence. He believes in the importance of dialogue and public debate as key activities for a society to develop and be truly functional. He believes that in Hungary different groups in society are becoming increasingly distant, partly because of current political communication, and his aim is to bring different points of view closer together, thus creating a more open and meaningful discourse.
The exhibition is open from 15 November 2023 to 11 January 2024.
Interact
In music, the term interplay is used to describe when all the instruments are playing at the same time at a given moment and instead of a cacophonous chaos of notes, the different melodies complement each other to create a harmonious harmony.
The annual debut exhibition of the Studio for Young Photographers (FFS) features the work of six artists in the K11 Lab. The exhibition is characterised by an openness to mutual dialogue: the process between the artists and the curators is an interplay in which different visions and fragments of divergent ideas are brought together.
The themes are different, but the apparatus used - the instrument - is the same. The works on show explore issues that are of current concern to the photographers, yet they are meant to speak together, harmoniously, in one space.
New members of FFS: Cinthya Dictator, Tamás Cseke, Edmond Kovács, Olivér Lantos, Zsanett Lengyel, Emese Bíborka Szakács, Adrienn Szövérffi, Krisztián Varga
Curators of the exhibition:
Zsanett Lengyel
Emese Bíborka Szakács, Capa Központ
K11 Labor
K11 Labor, established in January 2022 as part of the K11 Arts and Cultural Centre, is an inclusive space that aims to bring contemporary art and design closer to the city's audience through thematic exhibitions and other programmes."
