The symbolism of the Seven Towers legend has appeared many times in Hungarian cultural history. For us, the folk culture, collective memory and creativity of the Carpathian Basin, as well as the spiritual legacy of the great ancestors, are the treasures that the Seven Towers of Vienna, Kassa, Munkács, Brasov, Novi Sad, Zagreb and Maribor, embraced by their towers, represent. Among these treasures is the oeuvre of Imre Makovecz.

In 1992, Imre Makovecz's world-famous Hungarian Pavilion was built at the Seville Expo and almost immediately became a national icon. The music for the pavilion was composed by Ferenc Kiss. The music, which lasts about 20 minutes, is an outstanding work of Hungarian world music. It later became the soundtrack for the album The Sounds of the Seven Towers.
National Dance Theatre
On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
