Palace Hotel

Set among the snow-capped peaks of Switzerland, the Palace Hotel, a magnificent castle with a fairytale atmosphere, is enjoyed by countless wealthy and pampered guests. On the eve of the year 2000, guests come from all over the world. They have come to celebrate the upcoming, once-in-a-lifetime event, and an army of waiters, porters, chefs and receptionists line up to cater to their every bizarre need.

Before their arrival, Hansueli, the hotel's dedicated manager, checks on the staff and stresses that, although it is the dawn of the new millennium, it will not be the end of the world. However, a battle breaks out over the whims and eccentricities of the guests, and the various stories come together in an absurd and provocative black comedy.
