The mobile performance of Beyhan Murphy and Mercan Dede, one of the leading figures in Turkish dance, a "world music artist" with multiple layers of meaning, aims to represent Turkish culture, enriching it with mystical insights in the language of contemporary modern dance. Contemporary and classical elements are interwoven in the piece: from the Ottoman era to an urban café, from the inner search of modern man to the circling dervishes, to the rose at the end of the journey, an expression of all that is noblest in humanity. The Rosegarden tent is a symbol of the nomadic life. The colourful and dynamic Rosegarden performance is accompanied by a live orchestra and backed by photographs by world-renowned photographer Ara Guler. Rosegarden, now in its 20th uninterrupted year in 2024, is one of the State Opera and Ballet's most successful productions.

National Dance Theatre
On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
