He blends in and stands out from his surroundings with his costume and mask, radiating a serenity that he transfers to his environment. The pulsation of life is realized through the harmony of mimicry, posture, gestures and movements in Péter Gémes' photographs and paintings. The black-and-white world of The Memory of the Hand and the Body, with its settings resembling stage scenes, provides the perfect backdrop for the black-and-white appearance of the mimes, whose movements rhyme with the rhythm of the images and whose elegant, unique style and strong acting presence add a new dimension to the exhibited images.
Location
Kunsthalle Budapest
The largest exhibition hall in Budapest, in Heroes Square, just the opposite the Museum of Fine Arts.
