It can only get better

Albert (Pio Marmaï) is a petty good-for-nothing who can't get ahead in life as an adult. Fate brings him together with compulsive shopper Bruno (Jonathan Cohen), with whom he goes to a climate activist rally in the hope of getting free beer. Thanks to an attractive protester (Noémie Merlant), the two men remain eco-warriors, even though they have no real interest in saving the Earth. They are increasingly accepted by the members of the society, unaware that Bruno and Albert are only looking for their own gain in the actions. Meanwhile, tensions are growing between the two friends in their competition for the girl.
