Lengemesék 2. - Winter on the Sea of Reeds
After the spring and summer adventures of the lengas, the stories now present the autumn and winter events of life in the Sea of Reeds.
As in the Spring-Summer film, the main character of the story is Vilko the Whistling Woodpecker, a brave, courageous and kind-hearted linen boy who can't wait to become a guardian. But only the young man whose green hair has turned brown and the colour of a reed canary is made a guardian. But Vilko is a clever handyman, full of ideas, and willing to do the craziest things if his green hair refuses to turn brown. But until then, he cannot, by law, sit on a thrush's back, be armed or take part in the work of the guardians.
