Once upon a time in Budapest, there lived a little boy whose favourite pastime was truancy and slingshots. He could only indulge his passion for the latter on sparrows and cats. Not having much luck in hunting, he imagined the missed opportunities. Then one day, Verbena, the sparrow fairy, fed up with Vili chasing her charges, decided to teach the bad boy a lesson. She turned Vili into a sparrow. From then on, the sparrow boy had countless exciting adventures...
