Qualitons, one of the most internationally acclaimed bands of recent years, announced their disbandment in the spring of 2022, at the peak of their career. But the story didn't end there.

Some of the members of the creative community came together again in the rehearsal room without expectations, for the joy of making music. This is how Qualitons was born again, and with its current line-up (Levente Boros, Ernő Hock, Ádám Menyhei, Barna Szőke, András Weil) it opens a new chapter in the history of the orchestra. By their own admission, they started the work with an adolescent enthusiasm.
Their new album, to be released in the spring, will be much more jammy and cohesive in mood, despite the fact that it will feature afrobeat, hip-hop, electronic instrumentation and even the crime-fighting serial music of the eighties. The audience will be able to hear the full album for the first time on 10 May at the Hungarian House of Music, but of course the repertoire will also include a few songs from Qualitons' earlier era.
