January's online Ped.kedd will focus on the ARTtransfer Prize, established by the Ludwig Museum to recognise the transmission of contemporary art. Participants can learn about the outstanding entries for the ARTtransfer Prize 2023, which is being launched in the spirit of care. The winner, Anna Versényi, will be presented, as well as two of the jury's shortlisted entries, Gréta Garami and Zsuzsanna Somogyi. We will also talk to the participants about the ARTtransfer Prize, which will be announced again in 2024, and this year's theme.

The Ludwig Museum - Museum of Contemporary Art, located in Müpa, is the first museum in Hungary to exclusively collect contemporary art. In addition to a permanent exhibition of the collection donated by the Ludwigs and a number of temporary exhibitions, the museum aims to raise awareness of the works and their creators through special publications and a variety of art education and art education programmes.
