Schedule

The garden of the Budapest Hospice House was the outdoor venue for the exhibition Care is Fragile ∞ Handle with Care. The works of Tamás Kaszás exhibited here are not only art objects but also utilitarian objects, and will remain in the garden.

In the programme, the artist will talk about his birdhouses and birdfeeders inspired by Lajos Kassák and Le Corbusier, as well as the Vandalised Aldo Leopold Bench. Anikó Loránt's drawings and watercolours are on display in the Foundation's office corridor: imaginary things, fictional worlds, anthropomorphic creatures, magical, fairytale-like spaces. Anikó Loránt also wrote the sentence burnt into the Aldo Leopold bench: 'It is really important that I am here!

Teri Szűcs will read from her book "Memory Returns to Me", which will be published in March.

"Three nights and three days the voice of the Army of Dementia has been heard. In the morning they doze a little, at night they freshen up. They let no one sleep and fear no one. They can chant for all eternity. My mother's one of them, blinded by her walker. She couldn't wait to fight. Eventually it'll be quiet. We won't forget you, they say, before you disappear, and we'll come back for you."
