Erzsébet Katona Szabó observes the small moments and phenomena of nature, lives according to its rhythm and creates a harmonious unity with it. She knows the intangible, the rules of natural forces. She spies light filtering through the canopy and senses changes in vegetation. (...) She is nature's chosen one, in dialogue with his surroundings. She walks through the woods and sometimes stands fascinated in front of a soft, mossy rock. She feels the flora, studies the gnarled, tangled trunks of trees. The discovery of this mystery permeates the artist's daily life, inspiring his art.
