The bastard
In 1755, Captain Louis Kahlen sets out on a seemingly impossible mission to conquer the rugged, uninhabitable Danish countryside. His goal is to build a colony in the name of the king. But a ruthless local landlord has other ideas and arrogantly believes the land is his alone. Kahlen is hardheaded and feels the king's mandate and his own determination are enough to succeed. A clash between the two sides seems inevitable, and the captain is fueled by his emotions after finding the love of his life.
