Sanga ni wati // In all times of space - Garden of Eden
The title of the exhibition is "sanga ni wati" in Bambara, which means "every time of space" or "always". Our series of exhibitions aims to capture the relationship between the eternal desire and aspiration to achieve Edenic existence through visual art. The works in the second station will expand on the narrative progress of the artists, and in some cases deepen the concept of the exhibition through new art ensembles.
By conceptually incorporating the term "sanga ni wati", the exhibition also aims to form a kind of conceptual bridge by bringing a term of West African Bambara culture, which is older than the Western understanding, into a European, in this case Hungarian, context.
