A late buso, a welcome to spring, a farewell to winter, a sacrifice on the altar of music. Let's evoke together the fertile warm spirits of spring and throw into the Pit as a sacrifice the feelings that have been trapped during the winter.

In a surprising twist, the wedding funk band, inspired by the title of its own event and in keeping with its blasphemous content, draws freely from Stravinsky's scandalous 1913 piece to emerge from the darkness, sacrificing no one, and sail on into the waters of improvisational dance music - jazz-funk, klezmer, whatever - to the reassurance of the audience and itself.
