Three operas by three composers in one evening - the result is Figaro3. Beaumarchais's Figaro trilogy inspired not only the well-known operas of Rossini and Mozart, but also the rarely heard composer Darius Milhaud. The production features a unique adaptation by András Dömötör and Gergely Litkai, which focuses on the story of Rosina and Almaviva from the drama trilogy. It is an unprecedented opportunity for opera singers to finally perform their roles through the entire trilogy, with the solos shaped around the edges to take their cues from Mozart's version of the musical epicentre. And here we have Léon, the late child of the Count and Countess, whose fate is the focus of all the family drama and secrets, and who wants to deconstruct his family history in a unique therapy session to discover why things turned out the way only opera fans know - or perhaps even they don't.

The largest indoor complex in Hungarian railway history, a system of vast covered spaces unique in Europe, the Northern Railway Maintenance and Engineering Works was built between 1884 and 1886. After years of alterations and renovations, starting from 2020 it is now home to the Hungarian State Opera’s new logistics and art centre.
