Flowing Patterns – Simple Texturing on Recycled Bicycle Inner Tubes
Do you enjoy upcycling, giving discarded materials a new life, and immersing yourself in the creative process? Join us on June 26 at Viadukt Bar for a unique and sustainable jewelry-making workshop.

Schedule
About the Workshop
During the session, you'll create either a bracelet or a pair of earrings from recycled bicycle inner tubes. Inspired by the Danube, we'll use scissors to cut delicate patterns and textures into the black rubber, capturing the movement and flow of the water. No previous experience is required—using simple tools, anyone can create beautiful, wearable accessories with ease.
About the Artist
The workshop is led by Lilla Csetényi, the founder and designer behind NEARNIA jewelry. Her studio creates one-of-a-kind, spontaneously designed pieces, ranging from minimalist jewelry to bold stage accessories inspired by cyberpunk and fetish aesthetics. Lilla primarily works with recycled bicycle inner tubes and leather, and her most essential tool is a pair of scissors. Most of her jewelry emerges through endless cutting, experimentation, and exploration.
The core principles of NEARNIA are upcycling and recycling, and these values are at the heart of her workshops, where participants are encouraged to rethink waste and transform discarded materials into unique, meaningful creations.
