I JUST CAME TO TELL YOU I'M LEAVING // DIRECTOR: DORKA GRYLLUS
- a musical monologue of rage -
What would have become of me if Dominik had married me? If he’d slow-danced with me at the prom? If I hadn’t hated him, but kissed him instead? What if I’d been crowned beauty queen? What if I’d never left here? What if things had turned out that way? What if Dominik’s parents had built us a house on the hill, on that street where the rich people live, and we’d lived there with our perfect family—he’d work, and I’d stay home with the kids? What if that’s what the machine spits out? What if I, too, had been born into a rich family like you, Tamara, my little pink feather, instead of drifting from one job to the next and living day to day?

Schedule
In the breathtaking, ecstatic monologue of Anne Haug’s protagonist, questions arise about origin, identity, departure and return, envy, life’s dreams, and the harsh reality. And about whether revenge can be a satisfying answer to all of this?
