The story of Julie (Renate Reinsve), who is in her twenties and thirties, was a resounding success at the Cannes International Film Festival, won the best actress award, and then went through festivals around the world to gather new fans everywhere.
We follow Julie for four years, the Norwegian girl tries to make the right, life-changing decisions in her love life and career – even if she causes pain to her loved ones or herself with her once considered, other times hasty choices. In order for Julie's life to be straightened out, she must first find and accept herself – there is a bumpy road to admitting this.
