STUDIO | To see and draw
To see and draw
The Studio is a museum creative workshop that transforms the reception of artworks into an active, personal experience. In the bimonthly program, participants delve into the details of the exhibited works through drawing. The session is based on slow observation, experimentation, and dialogue with the artworks. The emphasis is not on technical knowledge, but on attention and personal interpretation.
The program begins with a short introduction in the Baroque Hall, and then continues in the exhibition spaces of the Old Gallery.
No prior drawing skills are required. We provide the paper, pencil, drawing board, and mobile chair necessary for drawing.
The workshop is led by artist Maria B. Raunio, a visual arts instructor.
The Museum Immersion and Studio programs are sponsored by MVM in 2026.
