1944. In the small pub, the regulars (the watchmaker, the book agent, the carpenter, the photographer and the innkeeper) talk about everyday things. About the way to make veal brisket, about acquaintances, and whether they would choose the fate of the rich tyrant or the unfortunate but decent slave if they had the means to rise again after their death. They have no idea that they will have to answer the theoretical question raised the next day in the torture chambers of the archers - in practice - with their actions.

Bem Cinema
In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
