PANGEA olvasótér 01 | STRAND

Not at Lake Balaton on Tuesday night? Is the city keeping you away from the waterfront? Dive into literary experiences!

The Pangea Reading Space is opening at Susuka—a place for free and informal reading and conversation. The theme of the first group reading is STRAND and waterfronts in general: how does the imagination drift on the waves, what treasures and reefs lie hidden beneath the water, who and what is carried to the other shore, and why didn’t they just stay put on the sand? What kind of social space and imagination does the waterfront create, along with the masses of nearly naked bodies lounging and bustling there?

Why don’t we go to the beach all year round, anyway?

This is our first time—we have some ideas, but we’d love to shape the future of shared reading together with you! Come even if you don’t read on your own: we’d love to read aloud and tell stories to one another :) Bring your own ideas and reading materials!
