“Holding Behaviour” is the continuously documented diary of a visual way of thinking, installed within an intimate SPACE. Its point of departure is that immaculate white corner of a room, which is not merely a physical location but gradually comes to life as an inner space through the peculiar objects placed within it. It has become a holding, stable point where one can linger and enter into a relationship with the constructed object that appears at the meeting of the white walls. In this sense, the recess functions simultaneously as a boundary, a marker of refuge, and a holding structure.

What does it mean to HOLD ON to something… a feeling, a state, a memory, or even ourselves in a vibrating world? The freely assembled compositions of objects offer time and space to dwell on these questions, gently balancing between the experiences of permanence and transformation. The space becomes imbued again and again with shifting qualities: at times it turns into an altar, at others it appears as a kind of inner support, where fragile elements nevertheless remain together, radiating a peculiar unity—if you like, becoming supports for one another.

The MATERIALS appearing in the installation—papers, textiles, plastics, found and shaped objects—form a sensitive system together. Beyond their individual meanings, their relationships strongly reflect upon one another. Here, holding is not a static state but an active presence: a kind of attention capable of staying with what is in the process of becoming… The works do not tell linear stories but offer ‘COLOURED’ states—from the blue zone, through greenish-pink terrains, to the arrival in the red chamber, and finally to a golden closure.

Holding Behaviour is at once personal and universally resonant. It originates in individual experience, yet connects to fundamental human QUESTIONS (returning to the ideas above), such as safety, the practice of presence, and the possibilities of connection. The objects, suspended here and there, partly seeking the safety of the walls while at the same time aspiring to float in the air, are—one might say—actively quiet: from within, they open a space for attention and invite the viewer to perhaps recognize their own inner points of support.
