Tóth Viktor Arura Trió

A key feature of the jazz trio—comprising saxophonist Viktor Tóth, cimbalom player Miklós Lukács, and double bassist György Orbán—which boasts a likely one-of-a-kind lineup without a drummer, is the way the roles of the instruments constantly shift during their performances: within the ensemble’s wide-ranging musical fabric, both the cimbalom and the double bass are given ample opportunity to take the lead. Following the band’s highly successful debut album, *Szemed Kincse*, they released the album *Have No Fear* in 2020. Like their previous work, this musical material is characterized by a delicately woven, spiritual spirit that at times unfolds meditatively and at other times erupts like a volcano.
