Guided Tour of the Exhibition "The Big Bang: Expanding Horizons of the Collection"
2026-07-12T14:00:00.000Z
The “Big Bang” exhibition traces the development of the museum’s collection based on the chronological distribution of its acquisitions. This chronological framework is intersected by a thematic logic: as visitors move through the exhibition in its own chronological order, divided into separate sections, they encounter a unique cross-section of the ever-expanding collection.
To use an analogy, the selection is like a “family history” told through parallel narratives—if you will, the collection’s family album—which also features numerous previously unseen “relatives” (works), while also highlighting the micro-histories of individual works, the collection’s focal points, and the criteria guiding the collection.
