We catch a glimpse into the ritual-filled lives of a barbaric community struggling to survive amid the ruins of a civilisation. Driven by instinct and battling their fears, they fight to endure whatever Fate has in store for them – sometimes bringing goodness, joy and love, at other times sorrow and death.

A girl whose life is destined to be short finds a fleeting moment of happiness. The all-consuming feeling of love makes her believe that life can be different, that it can be more beautiful. But Fortuna is fickle and cruel, indifferent to the beauty of the moment. Through experiences of disappointment, joy and fear, they all come to understand more about themselves, their fate, their possibilities – and what it means to be human.
National Dance Theatre
On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
