Unusual guided tours of the Capturing Eternity exhibition
Discover the fascinating world of ancient Egyptian art! The exhibition, which features around 140 artefacts, shows how Egyptian art served to create a connection with the gods and the afterlife with the help of sculptures, reliefs, stelae, coffins and cult objects. During the leadership, they can gain insight into the creative methods of the ancient Egyptian masters, the world of materials and techniques used, and the religious and symbolic ideas that determined the creation of works „for eternity”. Based on the museum's rich Egyptian collection, the exhibition explores the process of creating thousands of years of works of art using state-of-the-art natural science investigations and digital reconstructions, shedding new light on the art and craft culture of ancient Egypt.

Visitor information:
The price of the full-price ticket for the program: HUF 7,700, which includes the entrance ticket to the exhibition and the price of the guided tour. The discounted ticket: HUF 4,600 for all our visitors who are entitled to a discount of at least 50% when visiting the exhibitions.
Please arrive at the Museum of Fine Arts 20 minutes before the start of the guided tour.
Our guided tours are carried out with tourguide devices, the necessary headphones can be collected in the Marble Hall. The headphones are disinfected after each use.
