Péch Lóránt Quartet

The Lóránt Péch Quartet is one of the most notable ensembles of the younger generation of Hungarian jazz musicians. Formed in 2023 at the initiative of pianist and composer Lóránt Péch, the ensemble represents a unique musical world in which contemporary acoustic jazz blends elements of modern and traditional sounds, subtly interwoven with classical music influences. The band members are current or former students of the jazz department at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. Despite their young age, they have already performed for audiences at numerous domestic and international jazz clubs and festivals. This year, the group won the Audience Award at the Müpa Jazz Showcase, in addition to several special awards.
