A special evening awaits anime music fans in Budapest: Gozo Listening Bar will host its first Anime OST Vinyl Club, featuring decades of anime soundtracks played from original vinyl records.
The evening’s host, DJ Total Commander, will draw on his own record collection for a journey through anime music from the 1970s to the present day, bringing together familiar classics and lesser-heard soundtracks.
The selection will include music from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Lupin the 3rd, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Space Cobra and Dirty Pair, alongside tracks from more recent titles such as Sakamoto Days, Lazarus, Kowloon Generic Romance and Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
What makes the evening special is that the music will come straight from original records on the turntables, going beyond the usual anime playlist.
Anime OST Vinyl Club starts at 7 pm on Saturday, November 28, at Gozo Listening Bar, 14 Erkel Street, in Budapest’s 9th district.
